b2evolution / Free HTML widget / Websnapr "Bubble 3.0" Integration

Mit dem "Free HTML" lassen sich neben freien Texten, Bildern und Videos für die Sidebar auch JavaScript Dateien in b2evolution einbinden, ohne dass man dafür ein Plugin erstellen oder die PHP Dateien des Skins verändern muß.

Man fügt einfach unter Blog settings > Widgets einen "Free HTML" Container in den "Header"-Bereich ein und trägt in diesen den JavaScript code ein.

Folgendes Beispiel zeigt die Integration von Websnapr Vorschaubildern (Websnapr "Bubble 3.0") für die Linkliste in der Sidebar:

Wenn man für your_websnapr_id seinen Code für den kostenlosen websnapr Basic Service eingetragen hat, kann man die Vorschaubilder auch schon sehen, wenn man mit der Maus auf das Icon hinter dem entsprechenden Linktext zeigt. Das folgende Bild das Ergebnis:

b2evolution / Websnapr Plugin v1.0

This plugin adds a Websnapr preview image and a link to the corresponding webpage to your post.This first version is intended mainly for use with link-blogs.

The Plugin has been tested with b2evolution version 2.4.2 and 3.3.1.

Installation

  1. Copy the websnapr_plugin folder into the "plugins" folder of your b2evolution installation.
  2. Log in to the administrative interface for your blog.
  3. Install the Websnapr plugin from Global settings > Plugins install > install new using the [Install] link.
  4. Adjust the plugin settings according to your demands.

Basic Usage

The plugin will add a [Websnapr] button to the editor toolbar.

  1. Press the button and enter an URL into the popup input field.
  2. Pressing the [Ok] buttom and [ws]http://url[/ws] will be added to your post.
    The rest of the job is done by the rendering functionality of the plugin.
